When you're tasked with organising the entertainment for a social event you may find searching for worthy acts to be quite difficult, even if you've spotted an act you are considering hiring that has great credentials you may still have a sense of uncertainty as they're probably total strangers. You have to give your soloists or band a great deal of trust especially if you are unfamiliar with them as you're bound to wonder if they'll even show up, it's also possible that you inadvertently hire a band that's not up to the job and they could potentially turn your event into a disaster.
